• Bangladeshi Independence Day – This is a yearly reoccurring event, usually celebrated in March. Various cultural activities take place on the day such as dance, drama, music and the event culminates with the sharing of traditional Bangaldeshi food. The events are very well attended by local Councillors, other community members and the officers from various Statutory bodies.
